Environmental Disasters

Everyone must have seen the video clips of the recent, terrible events in Japan. The destruction has made so many people homeless and the threat of radiation from their power stations has forced many others to vacate their homes and move to safer areas.
The son of a friend of mine works for Shelterbox, an international rescue charity based in Cornwall. They had a team in Japan 24 hours after the earthquake. What a brilliant idea. Their work is inspirational.

Many companies, schools, and institutions in our country have special activities to collect donations for Japan. I donated cash for Japan victims online. It is so cool to help!
